How do I make a claim with Saga Insurance?
If you wish to make a claim, please call 0800 001 5424. Be sure to have at hand you policy number and information, personal information, any receipts and/or photos and third party personal and insurance information if there was any involved. Replacement cars, garage and other expenses may be covered depending on the terms and conditions of your policy.
How do I cancel my policy with Saga Insurance?
You can cancel your policy by calling 0800 056 9167. If the cancellation is made before the policy begins you will get a full refund of the premium paid. If the cancelation happens within the first 14 days and the policy has already started, some administrative charges may apply. If the cancellation is made after the first 14 days, administrative fees will apply and you will receive a pro-rata refund.
How can I file a complaint with Saga Insurance?
To make a complaint you can call 0800 092 3700 or write to Customer Relations Department, The Saga Building, Middelburg Square, Folkestone, Kent, CT20 1AZ. Once the complaint is received you will get an answer by 5 working days with the representative handling your case. The outcome can take up to eight weeks.
What happens if I want to make amendments to my holidays with Saga?
If you need to change your holiday you have up to 75 days to do this so without fees. Within 75 days there are administrative fees and the closer you get to the departure date, the harder it will be to make changes due to availability. If you need to cancel your excursion within 72 hours fee up to 100% can be charged. You can change your excursion up to 72 hours with no fees or a minor fee if possible. The only possible reason for not being charged is through a medical certification. Keep in mind that once booked, the price you pay won´t suffer any modifications regardless the fuel price, exchange rate or any other factors that could go up. If I´m entitled to a refund with Saga, how long will it take?
If you are entitled to a refund, Saga takes approximately 48 hours after updating your booking to process the refund. After processing the refund, if the money goes back to a credit or debit card, it depends on the bank institution and can take up to 10 working days for you to see it in your account. If you do not see this credit after 10 working days, you should get in touch with Saga.
