EE is a British telecommunications company that is a joint venture between Deutsche Telekom and Orange S.A. It is the largest mobile network operator in the UK, with around 30 million customers. EE offers a range of mobile phone and broadband services, as well as TV and landline packages. The company has its headquarters in London, and also has offices in various other cities across the UK. EE was formed in 2010, and launched its 4G service in October of that year. This made it the first network operator in the UK to offer 4G speeds, and was followed by the launch of its 5G service in May 2019. EE has a nationwide network of over 19,000 mobile masts, and also operates a number of WiFi hotspots across the country. The company has been awarded a number of accolades, including being named as the 'Most Reliable Network' by RootMetrics for six consecutive years from 2013 to 2018.

How do I cancel my contract with EE?

You can cancel your contract with EE at any time, however, if you are terminating your contract before the minimum term ends you may have to pay remaining contract charges. If you are switching providers call customer care or text INFO to 85075 to get the information. If you want to keep your number, ask for your PAC code. And if you are switching providers without taking your number then request your STAC code. If you are not switching providers, just canceling your contract, you have to request a standard disconnection.

How do I file a complaint with EE?

You can make a complaint over the phone contacting customer service or sending a letter. If you are not happy with the solution they give you, you can ask for a manager and even escalate your problem to the specialist technical team or complaints team depending on the type. If your complain isn't resolved this way you can ask EE to refer it to the Citizens Advice Bureau, Consumer Advice Center or Trading Standards. You can also refer your complaint to Ombudsman Services if your complaint have not resolved within eight weeks. For purchases made online you can use the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform.
